MAARC's RadioFallFest the 2012 Edition of our Annual Fall Meet
October 21st, 2012
Another great day and another great meet. Weather almost a carbon copy of last year. The Flea Market was again greeted with blue skies and sunshine. Brisk and cool at first, but mid-60s by mid-day, making a good day to make a deal. New faces, both sellers and vendors, continued to arrive throughout the morning and the Flea Market was still working until auction time at Noon. We were worried the auction would run long due to strong consignments and items from a couple estates. But our stalwart auctioneer, Brian Belanger, kept things moving at a good clip, getting us through by 4pm. The local Boy Scouts Troop 454 again provided the food service to the mutual benefit of the troop as well as the radio collectors who were there to enjoy it.
