Radiola 82 Tone Control

Postby dkoczur » July 22nd, 2014, 1:29 pm

I have two Radiola 82 chassis. I have measured the resistance of the Tone Control in each and they are 4000 ohm pots. The schematic for Radiola 82 indicates they should be 40,000 ohm pots. The volume control in each is also 4000 ohm. This is what the schematic indicates. What is the correct value for the Tone Control pot?

Since both the schematic and the chassis wiring diagram specify 40k, one would have to assume...

I disconnected leads and got the correct reading. Reconnected leads and still got correct reading, so I'm not sure what the problem was.
