MAARC Radio Age Newsletter – May 2012
The May 2012 issue of Radio Age, the monthly journal of the Mid-Atlantic Antique Radio Club (MAARC) has a lead article on how, in the early part of the 20th century, a teen-aged boy diagnosed with Leprosy pursued his radio hobby while in forced quarantine on Penikese Island, near Boston.
It is reproduced here for public dissemination of a view of the life of a quarantined youngster of that period. The author of the article is Edwin Lyon, a MAARC member.
